It is our pleasure to invite you to our second annual celebration of the Holiday Season in Ranchi, India from December 30, 2011 - January 1, 2012, starting at 4 pm at Kanke Dam Children’s Park (adjoining Rock Garden) Kanke Road, Ranchi. The event is being organized by the Department of Tourism, Jharkhand.

While celebrating  the New Year, the event will promote Regional Culture and Tradition among the younger generation. This event will primarily contain Traditional Fusion Rock Performance, Ethnic Fashion Show, Ethnic Food Fest, Traditional Musical Instrument, Folk Dance, Traditional Art and Folk song performances by artists and youths of the region.

The funds raised in this event will be utilized for sponsoring potential youths and women in their various endeavors. ADN, in this one year, has supported thirty five students to attain education, fourteen women to receive weaving training, and Kokrajhar Assam victims in receiving relief from world over.  Furthermore, ADN targets to establish Artist Centre in the city in coming years for the region’s indigenous communities, which will be a precious infrastructure for generation to come and a common platform to generate employment for local people.

We would request you to kindly accept our invitation to this event. The dress code for this event is Festive Ethnic costume.
